When many other companies practice intensive breeding, Foies gras CASTAING preferred a corresponding breeding method to Label Rouge specifications.
This implies a longer breeding and force-feeding, in freedom, a diet only based on cereals and a whole grain corn force-feeding.
Thus, our foie gras has an authentic flavor, requiring little seasoning, like those made by our grandmothers.

Whole Foie Gras is a preparation composed of a whole foie gras, or one or more whole lobes of foie gras. It is the authentic foie gras, in canned, semi-preserved or half-cooked sous vide jars.

Foie Gras is a preparation composed of pieces of agglomerated lobes of foie gras. Usually presented in terrines, it has a highly sought-after aesthetic marbling when slicing.

Tasting advice
