Origine - terroirLocated in Villenave d´Ornon near Bordeaux, Château Baret is completely surrounded by its vineyard. Covering around twenty hectares, the vines are on average 25 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand or by machine depending on the plots.
They are then vinified in a traditional way in stainless steel vats and aged in oak barrels for 14 months.

Tasting notes
With a brilliant color, Château Baret is very aromatic when stirred with notes of ripe black fruits and roasted coffee beans. The attack is voluptuous, the body structured, rich, with fine tannins. The finish is long, with notes of black cherry

Served at a temperature of 17°, Château Baret will be perfect with a leg of lamb, a grilled piece of beef, or cheeses. Open the bottle one hour before serving.
